Prudential Financial reported that 11 employees improperly removed operational information for sales strategies. Consequently, the company will end life insurance secondments and some executives will return part of their compensation.

Prudential Financial (PRU.N) reported that 11 of its employees, seconded to contracted agencies, improperly removed 379 instances of operational information. This information was then used by Prudential employees to develop sales promotion strategies. As a result, Prudential plans to eliminate its life insurance secondments by the end of March, and some executives will voluntarily return a portion of their compensation.
