According to reports, Amazon (AMZN) CEO Andy Jassy stated during an all-hands employee meeting that artificial intelligence (AI) is expected to help Amazon Web Services (AWS) achieve $600 billion in annual sales, doubling previous estimates.

The report quotes Jassy as saying he previously believed AWS could reach about $300 billion in annual revenue within the next 10 years. However, with the development of AI, AWS has the opportunity to at least double its revenue scale.

Financial reports show that Amazon’s total net sales for 2025 are projected to grow 12% year-over-year to $716.9 billion. Last year, AWS revenue increased 19% year-over-year to $128.7 billion. According to Jassy, AWS’s revenue over the next 10 years could grow approximately fivefold.

Amazon has been actively promoting AI transformation and seeking partnerships. Recently, the company collaborated with NVIDIA (NVDA) to develop advanced automotive AI assistants. Additionally, AWS has partnered with startup Cerebras Systems to create faster AI inference speeds and more efficient computing power in cloud environments.
