World Launches Coinbase-Integrated AgentKit to Support Human-Verified AI Agents
According to Cointelegraph, World, an identity network co-founded by OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, has released AgentKit, a developer toolkit that enables AI agents to demonstrate their association with verified individuals through World ID when interacting with websites and online services.
The system combines World ID's human identity verification with the x402 micropayment protocol initiated by Coinbase and Cloudflare, allowing agents to pay for access to online resources while providing cryptographic proof of their connection to verified human credentials.
