KBR signs long-term ammonia catalyst contract with Indorama

ChemChina News: Recently, KBR announced that it has secured a ten-year catalyst supply contract awarded by Doralama Elmer Fertilizer and Chemicals Company, providing supporting catalysts for all ammonia plants worldwide. This is KBR’s first long-term catalyst agreement in the ammonia sector, further strengthening its position as a leading global ammonia solutions provider.

According to the contract terms, KBR will provide comprehensive catalyst solutions for six ammonia plants operated by Doralama in Nigeria, Georgia, Uzbekistan, and India.

Jay Ibrahim, President of KBR Sustainable Technology Solutions, stated that the collaboration spans decades and involves multiple ammonia projects. This new partnership extends KBR’s support from technical licensing to long-term catalyst solutions.
