Market Rally Review: Today, storage chip stocks surged collectively, with Gigadevice and Longsys both hitting daily limits! A total of 63 stocks across the market reached daily limits, with 6 consecutive limit-up stocks.
On March 16, the market bottomed out and rebounded, with the Shenzhen Component Index closing in the green and the ChiNext Index rising over 1%. By the close, the Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.26%, the Shenzhen Component Index rose 0.19%, and the ChiNext Index increased 1.41%. The combined trading volume of the Shanghai and Shenzhen markets was 2.33 trillion yuan, down 75 billion from the previous trading day.
In terms of market sectors, hot spots rotated quickly, with over 2,800 stocks rising and 63 stocks hitting the daily limit. The storage chip concept sector experienced a collective surge, with Bawei Storage up over 12%, hitting a new all-time high, and Zhaoyi Innovation, Jintaiyang, Langke Technology, and Yingxin Development hitting the limit. The deep-sea technology concept strengthened, with Oriental Ocean, Shenkai Holdings, and Marine King hitting the limit. The PCB concept was active, with Jinan Guoji, Chaoying Electronics, and Zhuolang Intelligent hitting the limit. The shipping sector rose in the afternoon, with China Merchants South Oil and Hainan Airlines Technology hitting the limit.
On the downside, energy storage and green electricity concepts continued to adjust, with China Nuclear Construction and China Power Construction hitting the daily limit. The coal sector declined sharply, with Zhengzhou Coal & Electricity plunging.
Today, a total of 44 stocks (excluding ST and delisted stocks) hit the daily limit, with 6 stocks hitting the limit for consecutive days. Twenty-four stocks failed to hit the limit. The limit-hit rate was 65%.
In terms of focus stocks, the fiber optic concept stock Falsun hit the limit for the 9th time in 16 days, the power grid equipment sector Shun Na Shares hit the limit 5 times in 9 days, and chemical stocks Chitianhua and Sanfangxiang hit the limit 4 and 3 times respectively.
