Jilin Chemical Fiber Group's carbon fiber total production capacity will exceed 100,000 tons, Zhongfu Shenying rises nearly 15% and continues to set historical highs
On March 17th, the carbon fiber concept experienced repeated activity, with Zhongfu Shenying (688295.SH) rising nearly 15%, hitting a new all-time high. Jilin Chemical Fiber (000420.SZ), Jilin Carbon Valley (920077.BJ), Zhongjian Technology (300777.SZ), and Guangwei Refractory Materials (300699.SZ) also followed the upward trend.
In terms of news, recently, Jilin Chemical Fiber Group’s wet-process 3K thousand-ton carbonization line officially began debugging and commissioning, with a single-line capacity of 1,500 tons per year. The products are free of hairy fibers, have no color difference, and exhibit uniform yarn expansion, with stable and reliable performance. They can provide carbon fiber materials for high-end fields such as aerospace, medical devices, and automotive lightweighting. Currently, Jilin Chemical Fiber Group’s wet-process 3K carbon fiber capacity has reached 5,000 tons per year. Since the second half of last year, it has been in a state of supply shortage. In the first quarter of this year, it maintained continuous full-capacity operation, and its products have gained widespread recognition and favor in domestic and international markets. This year, Jilin Chemical Fiber Group will have seven carbonization lines gradually completed and put into operation, with total carbon fiber capacity expected to surpass 100,000 tons.
