By the end of 2025, the market size of tokenized real-world assets (RWA) will exceed $35 billion, driving the shift of cryptocurrency focus from speculation to infrastructure building that connects digital markets and traditional finance. Key projects laying this foundation include Chainlink, whose CCIP protocol is currently used by SWIFT for cross-chain settlement; Ondo Finance, a leading company in tokenizing U.S. Treasuries and stocks with a total value locked (TVL) of over $2.75 billion; and Centrifuge, a pioneer in on-chain lending. Maple Finance has expanded its institutional loan platform’s TVL to $4 billion, while RealT has tokenized over 600 U.S. rental properties.
