Statistical Survey of Rebar Production and Inventory as of February 26

According to Mysteel, as of the week ending February 26, rebar production shifted from increase to decrease. Factory inventories have increased for six consecutive weeks, social inventories for eight consecutive weeks, and apparent consumption has turned from decline to growth.
Rebar production was 1.651 million tons, down 52,800 tons from the previous week, a decrease of 3.10%. Factory inventories were 2.3284 million tons, up 117,700 tons from the previous week, an increase of 5.32%. Social inventories were 5.6776 million tons, up 727,900 tons from the previous week, an increase of 14.71%. Apparent consumption was 805,400 tons, up 393,800 tons from the previous week, an increase of 95.68%.
