Pakistan-Afghanistan Border Conflict Escalates with Heavy Casualties on All Sides

According to CCTV News, clashes between Pakistan and Afghanistan in their border regions have intensified, resulting in heavy casualties on both sides. Pakistan’s Information Minister Tarar stated that Afghanistan launched attacks in multiple areas of Balochistan province, killing 67 Afghan personnel, while Pakistan suffered one casualty. The Afghan Ministry of Defense said its retaliatory actions caused nearly 150 Pakistani military deaths and over 200 injuries. Additionally, Pakistan’s military strikes have also led to significant civilian casualties in Afghanistan. Tensions between the two countries have recently escalated, with Pakistan’s Defense Minister announcing an “open war” against Afghanistan.
