The consecutive limit-up data is astonishing, but it is actually hollow inside.

Abstract generation in progress

Since joining Taogu Ba, I initially intended to use a pen as a blade and stocks as a mirror to record the ups and downs and the pulse of my trading journey. I didn’t expect to receive such warm support from fellow investors—each encouragement is like a warm tonic, dispelling the confusion of short-term battles; each attention is like a conduit guiding my core principles, strengthening my dedication to refining my system. [Taogu Ba]

Xiaoyou understands deeply that short-term trading is like traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis—requiring the observation of “illness” amidst the fluctuations of rise and fall, and distinguishing “Yin and Yang.” Growth, however, is not a solitary journey—your recognition is the most precious “medicine guide” in my review logs, giving this methodology, based on TCM thinking, a more vibrant practical soil.

In the years ahead, I will continue to adhere to Xiaoyou’s four diagnostics: “Observe the market trend, Listen to capital flows, Question the logic, and Cut the buy/sell”—truthfully recording each trade’s diagnostic process, gains and losses, and hoping to use stocks as a medium to mutually verify and explore profitable paths with fellow investors.

Grateful for this encounter; the road ahead is long, and I walk it with you.

March 17 Xiaoyou’s Four Diagnostics

1. Look: Observe Market Sentiment (Identify Major Trends, Recognize Strong and Weak Pulses)
1.1. Look at the Major Trend: Assess Market “Qi and Blood”
Today’s major index closed at 4049.91 points, with circulation of “Qi and Blood” hindered. The index fell 34.88 points, showing signs of “Qi stagnation and blood stasis.” Market volume has shrunk for five consecutive days, with today’s turnover at 2.2079 trillion, down 117.5 billion from yesterday, indicating insufficient “Qi and Blood” and a cautious capital mood. Both bulls and bears have contracted. Short-term sentiment indicators show a “split personality”: on one side, only 843 stocks rose, while 4,334 declined, with poor profit-taking effects; 39 stocks hit the daily limit up, 10 hit the limit down, with a 30.36% break rate on limit-up stocks, indicating “false fire” rising and weak support. On the other hand, the ladder of consecutive limit-up stocks shows remarkable resilience—100% of second, third, and four-limit stocks advanced, suggesting short-term capital has formed a consensus on key targets, reflecting a “weak inside, strong outside” market structure.

1.2. Look at Strong and Weak Sectors: Focus on “Core Routes with Full Qi and Blood”
Strong sectors: Energy storage, power (computing power synergy). These sectors today show relatively full “Qi and Blood.” Energy storage stocks hit limit-ups: 8 stocks; Guosheng Technology hit 5 limit-ups in 11 days, becoming a market highlight; Fasheng hit 4 limit-ups in 4 days (with fiber optics and computing attributes); Chint Power 3 limit-ups in 5 days, showing strong recognition of the “computing power synergy” logic. Power sector follows closely, with Sunnao shares leading with 6 limit-ups in 10 days; Xihua Technology hit 3 limit-ups in 3 days; energy-saving wind power 3 limit-ups in 5 days; Jiangsu New Energy 2 limit-ups in 4 days, indicating that amid exploding demand for computing power, power as the foundational “blood vessel” is highly valued.

Weak sectors: Pan-tech (AI hardware), chemicals, real estate. These sectors have some limit-ups but are scattered, representing “capital ignition” without cohesive sector strength. AI hardware, chemicals, hydrogen energy, and real estate have sporadic limit-ups, lacking sustainability and sector linkage.

2. Listen: The Sound of Capital Movements:
Capital attitude shows a coexistence of “high-low switching” and “grouping for warmth.” On one hand, stocks with consecutive limit-ups are highly concentrated, with 100% advancing beyond second and third limit-ups, indicating capital consensus on core targets at high levels, reluctant to let go—like Fasheng and Sunnao. On the other hand, the attitude of stocks hitting the limit-up is cautious: 28 stocks hit the limit-up first day, only 5 of those advanced to second day, with a 13% upgrade rate, showing low willingness for low-level trial and error, preferring to repeatedly bet on recognized leaders. Divergent funds mainly flow into power and energy storage sectors, while outflows are scattered, indicating a lack of new incremental consensus.

3. Ask: Reflect on Inner Doubts (Holdings and Logic Check):
Question about holdings: Assess the “Qi and Blood” quality of individual stocks
1. Jingtou Development: Divesting real estate, awaiting new business models.
2. Yuneng Holdings: Focused on computing power synergy.

4. Cut: Diagnose Trading Pulse (Set Strategies, Clarify Entry and Exit):
Overall market trend and sector outlook for tomorrow: Continuous volume contraction, index under pressure, likely to remain in a consolidation phase. The “computing power synergy” (power, energy storage) remains the strongest theme and may continue to outperform; AI hardware, chemicals, and other sectors may only have individual stock opportunities without sector effect; real estate, steel, and other low-position sectors may rotate but sustainability is doubtful.
Alternative diagnosis and trading principles for tomorrow:

  1. Maintain integrity and seek innovation: Focus on “computing power synergy,” prioritize opportunities in power and energy storage, buy on dips of core stocks with low divergence.
  2. Control positions strictly: Given the continuous volume shrinkage, keep overall positions flexible.
  3. Leave the weak and hold the strong: If holdings deviate from the main theme or lack volume support, exit promptly to avoid lingering in “false fire” sectors.
  4. Watch volume: Closely monitor whether the total market turnover recovers; if volume continues to shrink, reduce trading frequency and wait for “Qi and Blood” to restore.
