The U.S. Treasury Department will execute the largest-scale buyback in history today, with a scale reaching $15 billion.

Mars Finance reports that on March 17, Barchart announced that the U.S. Treasury Department is expected to repurchase $15 billion of its own government bonds today, surpassing last week’s $14.7 billion and becoming the largest treasury repurchase program in history.
