ICBC Lianyungang Donghai Branch Carries Out "3·15" Financial Consumer Rights Protection Education and Publicity Campaign for 2026

To thoroughly implement the political and people-oriented nature of financial work and effectively improve the public’s financial literacy and risk prevention capabilities, on the occasion of the 2026 “3.15” International Consumer Rights Day, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Lianyungang Donghai Branch focused on the theme of “Clear Financial Networks, Protecting Peace of Mind in Consumption.” The branch carried out financial consumer rights protection education and publicity activities, taking practical measures to strengthen the financial security barrier and safeguard the public’s “money bag.”
The event was lively and engaging. The branch created a prominent publicity platform by hanging themed banners and displaying a series of promotional posters, attracting passersby to stop and pay attention. At the same time, carefully prepared promotional leaflets covering deposit insurance, anti-counterfeit currency, account security, prevention of illegal fundraising, and personal credit reports were distributed. The lobby manager and key staff formed a publicity team to proactively provide one-on-one face-to-face explanations to visitors.
During the presentations, staff used simple and understandable language to analyze common social financial risks, breaking down risk traps with real-life examples: focusing on explaining the scope of deposit insurance to clarify the safety bottom line for deposits; demonstrating counterfeit currency identification techniques and collection procedures to enhance public anti-counterfeit skills; highlighting key points for account opening, usage, and cancellation to prevent telecom network fraud and information leaks; exposing common illegal fundraising tactics such as “high-interest temptations” and “fake investments,” guiding the public to stay away from illegal financial activities.
This activity effectively brought financial knowledge closer to the public and strengthened their awareness of financial safety and rights protection. Moving forward, the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Lianyungang Donghai Branch will continue to deepen financial education efforts, innovate publicity methods, and expand coverage, actively practicing the bank’s mission to serve the people, and jointly creating a safe, honest, and transparent financial consumption environment.
