The Hang Seng Index opened up 104 points, at 25,938, challenging the 26,000 level. Turnover was HKD 3.88 billion. The Tech Index rose 0.5%, to 5,137 points. Yau Tai Securities Finance (01428) resumed trading with a gain of over 64%. Alibaba (09988) increased 0.9%. CATL (03750) rose over 1% to a new high. Baidu (09888) reversed the trend, falling over 2%.
