Today (March 16), China’s A-shares’ three major indices showed mixed performance. The Shanghai Composite Index closed at 4,084.79 points, down 0.26%; the Shenzhen Component Index closed at 14,307.58 points, up 0.19%; and the ChiNext Index rose 1.41%. The market’s total daily turnover was approximately 2.34 trillion yuan, shrinking by 77.4 billion yuan compared to the previous trading day. Over 2,800 stocks closed higher, including 60 stocks hitting their daily limit-up.

In the market, component concepts led the gains, with stocks like Jinan Guoji, Chaoying Electronics, and Taijing Technology hitting their daily limits. Concepts such as genetically modified organisms, storage chips, and semiconductors also rose. Gold, steel, and glyphosate stocks saw the largest declines.

26 stocks closed at their all-time high prices

According to Securities Times and Data Treasure statistics, excluding recent IPOs within the past year, 26 stocks closed at their all-time high prices today. From an industry perspective, stocks in electronics, basic chemicals, and machinery equipment sectors were more concentrated among the new highs, with 7, 4, and 4 stocks respectively.

Among the stocks reaching new highs, the average closing price increased by 5.94%. Stocks like Jinyang Solar, Jinan Guoji, and Yutong Technology hit their daily limits. Notably rising stocks included Baiwei Storage, Benchuang Intelligent, and Jinniu Chemical.

Top Stocks Revealed: 16 stocks had net institutional buy-ins exceeding 10 million yuan

Today, 19 stocks experienced net buy-ins from institutions, while 10 stocks saw net sell-offs. Sixteen stocks had net buy-ins over 10 million yuan, with Demingli leading at 198 million yuan; followed by Shunna Shares with 97.34 million yuan.

Among stocks with net sell-offs, Datang Power was the most affected, with institutions net selling 112 million yuan. Other notable net sellers included Fenglong Shares and Baichuan Shares, each with net sales exceeding 80 million yuan.

Among the stocks on today’s top list, 11 received net buy-ins from northbound funds. Hongbaoli and Xingyun Technology led with net purchases over 95 million yuan each; Shunna Shares, Jinkai New Energy, and Victory Precision also saw net buy-ins exceeding 50 million yuan.

Stocks with net sell-offs from northbound funds included 15 stocks, with Demingli, a leader in storage chips, experiencing net sales of 330 million yuan, the highest. China Power Construction, Chuanjinnuo, and Hengtong Shares each faced net sales exceeding 80 million yuan.
