US Stock Trends | Dow Jones Up Over 300 Points in Early Trading, Oil Price Down 3%

Oil prices fell back after reaching over $100 per barrel, and the Dow Jones Industrial Average rose more than 300 points early on.

As of 9:35 p.m. Hong Kong time, the Dow was at 46,906 points, up 348 points or 0.75%; the S&P 500 was at 6,692 points, up 60 points or 0.91%; the Nasdaq was at 22,354 points, up 249 points or 1.13%.

Oil prices declined, with New York crude futures currently at $95.59 per barrel, down $3.12 or 3.16%; London Brent crude futures at $102.41, down $0.73 or 0.71%.
