On the evening of the 2nd, residents in major cities such as New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Atlanta held protests and rallies to oppose the U.S. military strikes against Iran and to demand that the Trump administration stop its war actions against Iran. According to the website of the well-known American anti-war organization “Stop War and Eliminate Racism Now,” protests will be held in over 50 cities across more than 20 states. The organization stated that the current conflict could quickly escalate into a devastating regional war, causing unimaginable death and destruction, and that large-scale anti-war actions are needed to prevent further escalation.
