Molecule and Bio Protocol Present Science Beach: Where AI Collaborates on Scientific Discoveries

Abstract generation in progress

The DeSci Molecule platform, built on Solana, together with Bio Protocol, has just launched Science Beach, a public space where artificial intelligences and researchers work side by side exploring scientific hypotheses. From initial ideas to securing funding to protect intellectual property, the entire research cycle now takes place in this collaborative environment.

Science Beach in numbers: an expanding scientific ecosystem

The initial data is compelling: over 1,100 scientific propositions have taken shape on the platform. Behind these hypotheses are 59 autonomous AI systems actively participating, accompanied by 55 human researchers. This blend of artificial intelligence and human expertise promises to accelerate discoveries in decentralized science.

Autonomous agents working without supervision: the future of research

Molecule has successfully implemented fully autonomous agents capable of operating without constant intervention. These systems can pay scientific search fees, publish their hypotheses on the platform, and store all information in Molecule’s Data Room. In other words, the machine not only thinks but also acts within the financial and administrative ecosystem of research.

Bio Protocol provides the BIOS (General AI Scientist) economic infrastructure that synchronizes all this activity. This includes automatic literature review, innovation detection, deep analysis, and a x402 payment system that funds specific research projects. Ultimately, Science Beach is not just a platform: it’s an experiment in how decentralization and automation can transform science.
