Australia closes multiple embassies and consulates in the Middle East

People’s Financial News, March 11 — Australian Foreign Minister Penny Wong said on the 11th that the Australian Embassy in Israel, the Australian Embassy in the United Arab Emirates, and the Australian Consulate-General in Dubai have all been closed. Wong stated that since the U.S. and Israel launched military actions against Iran, more than 3,200 Australians have returned home on commercial flights from the Middle East as of March 11.
