XRP and Ethereum both experienced significant declines in early 2026, with XRP stabilizing around $1.40 after a 45% drop, while Ethereum's trading price hovered around $2000, well below the peak of nearly $4950 in August 2025. Despite the price plunge, since November 2025, XRP spot ETFs have attracted approximately $1.24 billion in net capital inflows, while Ethereum ETFs saw about $1.2 billion in net outflows during the same period. Analysts point out that due to XRP's smaller market cap, institutional capital inflows may have a greater impact on its price movement compared to Ethereum.
