Two Sessions Schedule Preview | March 12: Closure of the Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress

Xinhua News Agency, Beijing, March 11 — On the morning of March 12, the fourth session of the 14th National People’s Congress held group meetings for deputies to review three draft resolutions concerning the work reports of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, the Supreme People’s Court, and the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, as well as a draft decision on approving the report on the legal cleanup work and related laws and decisions; the Presidium held its fourth meeting.

At 3 p.m. on March 12, the fourth session of the 14th National People’s Congress concluded at the Great Hall of the People. The session voted on the draft resolutions regarding the government work report, the 15th Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development, the draft of the Environmental Protection Law, the draft of the Law on Promoting Ethnic Unity and Progress, the draft of the National Development Planning Law, the draft resolution on the implementation of the 2025 national economic and social development plan and the 2026 plan, the draft resolution on the implementation of the 2025 central and local budgets and the 2026 budgets, the draft resolution on the work report of the Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress, the draft resolution on the work report of the Supreme People’s Court, the draft resolution on the work report of the Supreme People’s Procuratorate, and the draft decision on approving the report on the legal cleanup work and related laws and decisions.
