The Book of Changes says: "A gentleman is not afraid to stand alone."

Zhuangzi says: "Going alone and returning alone is called being truly independent. A person who is truly independent is called the most noble."
The so-called "cautious solitude"
is not about hiding in the mountains,
but about:
keeping your mouth shut in crowds,
and guarding your heart when alone.
For the clear-minded,
you don't need so many "friends."
What you need is:
two or three confidants for late-night conversations,
a comrade you can rely on,
the rest are just passersby.
True harmony is aligning with heaven and earth, aligning with the大道, and aligning with oneself.
