Crypto Political Action Committee Fairshake spends $8.6 million in Illinois election
Deep Tide TechFlow News, March 10 — According to Cointelegraph, political action committee Fairshake, supported by crypto companies like Ripple Labs and Coinbase, has increased its spending in Illinois congressional races, less than 8 months before the U.S. midterm elections. Fairshake and its affiliated organizations have invested approximately $8.6 million in Illinois campaigns, six times their total campaign spending in the state for 2024. The committee currently has $193 million in reserve and has publicly stated it will “oppose anti-crypto politicians and support pro-crypto leaders” in 2026.
