The Procurator-General of the Supreme People's Procuratorate, Ying Yong, delivered the work report of the Supreme People's Procuratorate to the Fourth Session of the 14th National People's Congress, which stated that by 2025, efforts will be increased to combat money laundering, with 3,259 people prosecuted for crimes involving virtual currencies, underground banks, and other methods. The crackdown on telecom and online fraud crimes will be strengthened, with 69,000 people prosecuted.
