U.S. Defense Secretary claims military action against Iran "won't last too long"

U.S. Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin on the 2nd said that military actions against Iran will not last as long as those against Iraq. Austin and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley held a joint press conference at the Pentagon on the same day. Austin stated that the U.S. military’s objectives are very clear: to destroy Iran’s offensive missiles, missile production facilities, and its navy and other security infrastructure, “so that they can never possess nuclear weapons.” (Xinhua)
