CoinWorld reports that Wu said on Twitter that Standard Chartered Bank's Digital Asset Research Head Geoffrey Kendrick stated that stablecoins are safer than bank accounts due to the "Genius Act" requirement of 100% asset reserves (mainly U.S. Treasuries). He cited a Federal Reserve report indicating that in extreme cases, such stablecoins could even be safer than American banks.
