U.S. attack on Iran costs $6 billion in the first week

According to a recent report by The New York Times, in the first week of the US and Israel’s military operations against Iran, the United States has spent approximately $6 billion, and it remains unclear what constitutes a “victory” in this conflict. Additionally, estimates from US think tanks and former auditors of the US Department of Defense suggest that while the US and Israel’s strikes against Iran are costly, America’s weapons stockpiles are also rapidly depleting. Some US media outlets have reported that this war, which US President Trump has called a “lose-lose” situation, is quickly turning into a war that the US cannot afford to sustain.
