The Gilead Foundation has announced a $12 million investment across 33 community-based organizations in 14 states and D.C. to empower Community Health Workers (CHWs) and expand HIV prevention initiatives. This two-year effort aims to strengthen CHW-led prevention models, improve care navigation, and increase access to services for communities disproportionately affected by HIV. The initiative also focuses on building sustainable, locally driven HIV-prevention networks and delivering tailored education and prevention services to key populations.
