Tech Home, March 2 — Apple has now released its iPhone 16e. This phone continues the notch screen design, available in black and white, equipped with the A19 processor, with a starting storage capacity of 256GB, priced at 4,499 yuan.

Tech Home notes that the Chinese version uses a single physical nano-SIM card slot plus eSIM design, officially described as “capable of activating two eSIMs, or one nano-SIM card and one eSIM.”

In other aspects, the device still adopts design elements from the iPhone 14/15 series, weighs 170 grams, which is 3 grams heavier than the iPhone 16e. It features a 6.1-inch 2532x1170 resolution 60Hz OLED display (typical brightness 800 nits, HDR peak brightness 1200 nits), with a 48MP single camera on the back (equivalent to 26mm), and a USB-C 2.0 port.

Powered by the A19 processor, claiming to be Apple’s smart device preparation, it has a battery that supports “up to 30 hours of video playback,” and introduces MagSafe / Qi2 15W magnetic wireless charging (the iPhone 16e supports Qi 7.5W wireless charging).
