Gate TradFi has been in public beta for nearly a week. Let’s talk about this @Gate traditional financial crypto trading market.
Gate TradFi simply means integrating macro asset trading directly into your familiar crypto account:
Gold, Forex, Indices, Commodities, Popular Stock CFDs,
all available in the same gate with USDT as margin for long and short positions.
Additionally, when USDT is transferred to the Gate TradFi account, it is displayed with USDx accounting, which is quite simple and convenient.
I am optimistic about Gate TradFi, mainly for three reasons:
- As macro volatility becomes more interconnected and correlated, US stocks, USD, gold, and cryptocurrencies pull and push each other within the same macro scenario. Users seeking hedging need to withdraw funds or more, and Gate TradFi effectively provides a way to switch positions and hedge directly within the same margin pool.
- Gate TradFi is a CFD scene for traditional financial assets, with fixed trading hours and risk control mechanisms. The official disclosure states that single transaction fees can be as low as $0.018, and mentions that Forex/Indices can go up to 500x leverage, and stock CFDs up to 5x.
- Gate TradFi is a strategic move in Gate’s compliance efforts this year, upgrading users’ trading perspective from purely crypto to macro multi-asset, which can better retain traders in the long term.
The public beta lasts about a month, from 2026/1/14 11:00 to 2026/2/14 00:00. Updating the Gate App to version V8.4.0 allows you to try trading smoothly.
Additionally, note that TradFi involves CFD trading, which is not the same as holding spot stocks or gold.
