2025 was my most fruitful year in the crypto market. From the moment Bitcoin hit a new all-time high at the beginning of the year, the market seemed to open a new door — various Altcoins took turns performing in the first half, and in the second half, institutional funds entered en masse, causing the entire ecosystem to expand and reshape.

My trading strategy is relatively conservative: mainly spot trading, combined with small-margin contracts for experience. However, the biggest insight is that **risk management always comes before all strategies**. This year, I strictly followed stop-loss and take-profit rules, which allowed me to exit unscathed during several major corrections and avoided many potential losses.

In addition to daily trading, I also participated in early opportunities of many new projects, earning extra gains through mining rewards and project airdrops. The low-fee trading environment and fast listing mechanisms made the entire process smooth, with security being top-notch.

My current mindset is very clear: the long-term logic of the crypto market has not changed, and I will continue to HODL high-quality assets with solid fundamentals. In 2026, I will keep adhering to the value investing philosophy, believing that this cycle still has stories to tell.

It should be noted that your method of stop-loss and take-profit was already proven in 2017, but I have to admit—most people really can't do it. On-chain data shows that less than 15% of accounts escaped the top this year, making you a rare species.

Stop-loss and take-profit strategies have really saved me multiple times, almost losing everything during a certain correction. Luckily, I acted quickly. Airdrop mining is the real growth driver, much more exciting than chasing highs every day. Now I’m just HODLing and waiting for the next story, the long-term logic is still there. The current institutional entry is completely different from last year; it feels like we are just getting started. To be honest, most people are still debating the timing of entry, but they don’t realize that risk management is the key to survival. Institutional entry has truly changed the ecosystem; politely speaking, it’s reshaping, and harshly speaking, it’s a reshuffle. Early projects were indeed attractive, but you need enough risk tolerance. I’m testing the waters with small amounts. Low transaction fees are crucial; saving on fees is like earning extra profit. But to be fair, earning a lot this year also has a lot to do with luck. Can we keep it up next year?

Stop-loss and take-profit strategies really save lives. I only managed to make a profit once by gambling before, and then I kept losing... Seeing how steady you are, I also need to reflect and rethink.

Oops, stop-loss and take-profit are indeed the truth. I've run the data on my side, and accounts with disciplined execution have a Sharpe ratio that's 0.8 higher. This wave of institutional entry is no joke. The funding data is right here, but Bear still wants to remind you, don't go all in and think HODL. I've also participated in a few early projects. The returns are good, but the volatility, oh my, risk management really can't be neglected. Continuing to stick to this approach in 2026 is fine, but I'm worried another 50% retracement might scare people away. At that point, holding onto the little darling is the most important. The current question is whether the liquidity in the next cycle can keep up. It feels like market sentiment is a bit overheated.

Stop-loss and take-profit are truly lessons learned the hard way. So many people got wiped out because they didn't stick to these lines.
