Cryptocurrency circles, simply put, are a game of emotions.

I've seen too many traders whose initial capital of 100,000 can grow to millions, and others with a million in funds end up with only a few thousand. It's really not about luck. A seasoned investor once told me a phrase I strongly agree with: "If you can control your emotions, this place becomes a cash machine."

Spending more time in the crypto market has made me realize that survival is the top priority. I’ve summarized a few practical insights:

First, don’t be greedy. Start small and stay steady; there are plenty of opportunities. Many people go all-in right at the start—that’s suicide.

Second, consolidation periods are opportunities. When prices hover at the bottom, gradually build positions; during high resistance, reduce holdings in stages. Don’t see volatility as a risk—learn to profit from it.

Third, operate against human nature. Be alert when the market is wildly hyping; be cautious during panic sell-offs. Most actions people take, we should often do the opposite.

Fourth, have stop-losses and discipline. Chasing gains and panic selling are common pitfalls for retail investors—buying during downtrends, selling during uptrends. Admit mistakes when they happen, don’t be stubborn.

Fifth, never fully load your position. The crypto world is full of opportunities, but what’s really scarce are those who stay in the game. Good risk management makes profit just a matter of time.

These principles sound simple, but they are lessons learned through experience. Those who truly make money rely not on predicting the market, but on mindset and discipline. Stick to these, and the market will give you a satisfying answer.

That's true, but there are very few who can actually do it. I am a living example of the opposite.

That's right, I'm just worried that even if I know, I still can't do it. That's the most heartbreaking part.

They're all right, but I just can't do it haha --- I'm already hopeless with a full position --- I've been listening to this theory for three years, always confident, but in the end, emotions still control me --- Those who truly survive aren't bragging on social media --- Stop-loss? Sorry, I only know how to buy the dip --- That anti-human nature one hits the hardest; what we do is human nature manipulation --- Now I understand what paying tuition means; my tuition could buy a house --- A withdrawal machine, huh? I'm withdrawing my own principal haha --- Feels like listening to a divine scripture, but I just can't change my habit of chasing the rise --- Sounds good, but how many people can stick to these five rules?

It's true, but how many people can actually do it? I'm that kind of rookie who knows they should go against human nature, but still ends up getting trapped.

That's right, emotional management is truly the Achilles' heel for 99% of people. Going all-in is indeed gambling; the sooner you understand risk control, the more profitable you become. People with poor stop-loss discipline really don't last long; I've seen too many firsthand. The most difficult to do is going against human nature; FOMO is really no joke. I have deep experience with not going all-in; saving bullets is crucial.

That's true, but knowing is easy, doing is hard. Only a few can truly accomplish it.
