Still have less than 2000 in your capital? Don't think about getting rich overnight. The real key is to survive your way out of the crypto world first.
I previously taught a beginner who started with 1500U and achieved 3.2W U in four months, all without ever hitting liquidation. The crucial point is that it wasn't luck, but three seemingly simple yet super effective methods.
**Step 1: Proper position sizing; full position is suicide**
Divide 1500U into three parts: 500U for short-term spot trading, never chasing more than one order per day; 500U waiting for swing opportunities, only acting after the trend is clear, maybe every ten days or half a month; the last 500U is for risk management—if the first two parts lose, this can help you turn around. Full position in futures? That’s not trading, that’s gambling with your life.
**Step 2: Only trade when the setup is certain, rest otherwise**
Stay flat during sideways consolidation. 80% of losses come from chasing trades in chaotic ranging markets. If the trend isn’t clear, wait patiently. Instead of risking blindly, sometimes missing a few waves is better. Remember, crypto markets don’t move every day, but if your capital is gone, you’re out for good.
**Step 3: Set strict rules, don’t let emotions control your trades**
Cut losses at 2%, just like eating and sleeping—automatic and mechanical; take profit at 4%, reduce your position by half to lock in gains; when floating profits exceed 20% of your capital, withdraw 30% immediately, never add to losing positions. Most people can’t turn their situation around because they keep hoping the market will bounce back after a pullback.
Now, this guy’s account has already exceeded 10W U, and he doesn’t need to watch the charts every day—just check key levels in five minutes each day.
Getting ahead in crypto isn’t about luck. It’s about proper position sizing + waiting for opportunities + risk management. It may not be exciting, but it can save you three years of detours. The fastest path to success is often to slow down first.
