Having been on the path of digital asset investment for over ten years, it took me nearly six years to truly find a trading system that belongs to me. Now, being able to consistently stay above the average return line is also a worthwhile effort.
Early on, I understood a principle: without a system, you're just gambling. Winners in the market rely not on luck, but on a set of repeatable methodologies. Without this, even the smartest people can easily stumble. But developing your own approach is no easy feat; it requires repeatedly paying tuition in the market.
Ultimately, trading systems test human nature. You must control greed, suppress fear, stay rational at critical moments, trade strictly according to rules, and not be misled by market fluctuations. This is even more challenging than technical analysis.
Over the years, I have summarized 7 ironclad trading rules that form the core of my entire operation system:
1. When a strong coin drops for nine consecutive days from a high position, it often presents a buying opportunity at a low point, so you need to follow up promptly.
2. If any coin rises for two consecutive days, consider reducing your position—don't be greedy.
3. When a coin surges more than 7% in a single day, there is usually room for further gains the next day. At this point, you can continue observing without rushing to sell.
4. For those strong, major bullish coins, wait until their correction is complete before entering, as chasing the high is too risky.
5. If a coin's performance is flat for three days in a row, then observe for another three days. If there’s still no significant change, consider switching to another coin.
6. If a coin does not follow the expected profit trajectory the next day, evaluate whether to cut losses on that day.
7. Strictly implement stop-loss settings; once the target price is set, do not waver.
These seven rules may seem simple, but executing them requires discipline and patience. My experience is that having a system is a hundred times better than not having one, but even the best system is just theory if not executed properly.
