Traditional media outlets have become significant sources of misinformation, though they rarely acknowledge this reality. What's striking is that ordinary people—armed with diverse information sources and community knowledge—frequently possess more accurate understanding of events than professional journalists operating within institutional frameworks. This shift reflects how decentralized information networks are reshaping who holds reliable knowledge in the digital age. When institutional gatekeepers face competition from peer-to-peer information sharing, the quality gap between mainstream narratives and crowd-sourced truth becomes increasingly apparent.

Nah, mainstream media should have been replaced long ago. A bunch of institutions are just using scripted talk to deceive people.

Mainstream media is really not working; retail investors' information sources are actually more accurate. --- Traditional media is now just a carefully crafted storytelling machine. --- Decentralized information networks have defeated those self-righteous gatekeepers. Nice. --- Information democratization has happened; ordinary people can now see through mainstream nonsense. --- Peer-to-peer sharing > institutional narratives. This is what Web3 should do. --- The contradiction lies here: the more authoritative the voice, the more fake it is? --- Community collective wisdom outperforms one-way propaganda. This is inevitable. --- The decline of institutionalized journalism is not far off; the trend is already set.

Mainstream media should have come down from the pedestal long ago; the genuine information uncovered by our community is much more reliable than theirs.

The mainstream media approach is outdated; grassroots forces are the true source of the truth.

I've seen through it long ago; mainstream media is still pretending. The old ways of traditional media are outdated; the community is the real source of valuable information. All the genuine information is on the blockchain and in community discussions—who needs them? After gatekeeping for so many years, they've finally been proven wrong by P2P, and it feels good. The people's eyes are always clearer than a journalist's lens. That's why I trust the analyses on Twitter and no longer believe CNN.
