Your bitcoin, your responsibility. Don't hand over control to third parties—keep your private keys secure and maintain full custody of your assets. Whether you're using a hardware wallet, cold storage, or self-hosted solutions, the golden rule stays the same: nobody should have access except you. Market volatility comes and goes, but losing your keys is forever. Stay vigilant about phishing, backup your seed phrases offline, and remember—if you don't control the keys, you don't truly own the bitcoin.

My wallet, I am in control. The key is not to get carried away and lose the private key.

ngl the probability of actually executing self-custody flawlessly is statistically lower than most retail investors think... but yeah, theoretically speaking, this is the only risk-adjusted approach that makes sense

To be honest, self-managed wallets really aren't suitable for me; it's too much of a hassle.

Losing the private key just once makes you understand — that feeling is truly incredible.
