Morning everyone ⚡️

Recently, I'm being way more deliberate about every kard I add to my deck. Here's the thing—each slot you fill is a slot you're not using for something else. That opportunity cost hits different when you really think about it.

Every single choice forces a tough question: Is this truly maximizing my deck's potential? Or am I just going with comfort picks?

The meta keeps shifting. Your best choice today might be dead weight tomorrow. So now I'm constantly auditing my lineup, asking hard questions about synergy, performance ceiling, and whether each kard earns its place. Sometimes less is more. Sometimes the best move is cutting something, not adding it.

What's your approach? Do you overthink deck slots like this, or is it more instinct-driven for you?

Building a deck is essentially about sacrifice; every card must justify its position. --- Isn't this just an investment choice? Going all-in on a lousy project is worse than holding cash and waiting. --- I'm the kind of person who keeps tweaking my deck until I'm sick of it, only to think the previous version was better. --- With the meta changing so quickly, who can keep up? Cards just got on the bandwagon and then become useless. --- That's right, sometimes removing cards takes more courage than adding them; only by letting go can you gain. --- It's all about luck. Most of the time, I just pick cards based on intuition; if I get it right, I’m a genius. --- Opportunity cost really hit me; many people are greedy and want to fit all the good cards in. --- I really just go with my gut. If it looks good, I put it in, hahaha.

Every position in the deck has a cost, that's very true. I used to just pile cards randomly, but later I realized I still need to ruthlessly delete cards. --- I completely agree, comfortable choices are deadly, and when the meta changes, you have to start over from scratch. --- That's why I change my deck once a week; sometimes deleting cards is more satisfying than adding them. --- Ultimately, it still depends on the data; you can't just rely on intuition to make random choices. --- I feel the same way. Now every time I add a card, I ask myself "Is it worth it?" If not, I cut it. --- I like this approach of yours; mechanism optimization > comfort zone.

Deck building is like this; often, what you abandon is more important than what you add. --- Totally agree, comfort picks are really the poison of a deck. You only realize they're useless after a moment of clarity. --- I'm that kind of person who experiments wildly, changing the deck over a dozen times in a season. Teammates are annoyed, haha. --- You're right, the meta changes so quickly. The god card from last week becomes scrap metal this week. Everyone who's experienced it knows. --- Playing purely on intuition puts a lot of pressure on me. Seeing your systematic analysis makes me doubt myself a bit. --- A mechanism gets nerfed once, and half the deck needs to be rebuilt. It's really annoying. --- Just focus on grabbing the core cards, and fill the remaining slots freely... Am I wrong? --- Before each rank push, I do a thorough cleaning. Without it, I always feel like there are loopholes. --- Synergy is indeed easy to overlook. Some cards seem strong but are actually isolated.
