ONT announced a bullish call yesterday, and today it indeed achieved a 30% increase. Regarding this coin, I have a clear stance — I do not recommend shorting it. Even if it drops to 0.1, I would just stay bearish without action, wait for a bottom correction, and then go long again.
Remember to set stop-loss orders when trading. If the price falls below your acceptable range, pause trading. But if your judgment is correct, it theoretically won't fall to the stop-loss level. At that point, you can switch to other coins and continue going long.
Honestly, many people love to short such coins, but I really don't understand where the value lies. Taking ONT as an example — at a price of 0.08, how much more downside is there? Even if this coin truly has no value and gets delisted, do you think institutions will let it go that far? To accumulate more chips and maximize profits, they will eventually push a wave of trading.
If institutions don't push, it's just because they currently see no need. Usually, they let bots in the contract trading pool manipulate volume to maintain surface-level popularity. This doesn't mean the coin is "dead." So rather than betting on a short, it's more cost-effective to patiently wait for a long opportunity.
