💻💰🏢🎄 Happy Birthday 🎄 🎁! Do you remember how I wrote about the STABLE token in the STABLE/USDT pair, which I wanted to sell with a limit order? This is the continuation of that story, with a practical outcome and important conclusions. At that time, I set the price above the market price and decided not to rush, giving the market a chance to reach my level. But the spot market operates according to its own rules, and if the price does not reach the specified value, the order is not executed.
After a while, the exchange automatically canceled my limit order, and all STABLE tokens returned to the spot balance. This is a normal technical process, not an error or loss. In such cases, it’s important not to panic, but to see it as a signal to pause and reassess the market situation, because the non-execution of the order only means that the market did not confirm my scenario.
Then, I looked at the chart and candles to assess the overall market condition. It was clear there was an upward movement, but without clear confidence in continued growth. Here, I decided not to wait any longer, and to change my approach and work within what I understand well. This was not an impulsive decision, but a logical continuation of the analysis.
The decision to convert STABLE to GT should be explained sequentially:
1. The limit sell in the STABLE/USDT pair was not executed, so the original plan did not succeed.
2. The market did not give me enough reasons to expect its price to reach quickly.
3. GT has a clear practical value for me on the exchange.
4. The conversion allowed me to maintain control over my funds without forced selling.
5. This step aligns with my level of experience and the goal I set.
The particularly important point is the stance on the financial outcome. If I lost a small amount during the process, it is not decisive and does not cause regret. For someone newly familiar with the cryptocurrency market, it is more important to learn to act cautiously rather than chasing maximum profit without understanding the risks.
This situation clearly shows that in the first stage, the most important thing is to do what you understand yourself. It is better to make a simple and logical decision rather than enter complex tools without experience. This is how confidence, discipline, and calmness towards the market are formed, where every step is not a source of pressure but a conscious choice. Therefore, I am satisfied with the outcome and the lesson I learned from this story.
