Having spent five years in the crypto world, an eight-figure account isn't luck—it's the result of countless losses and lessons accumulated over time.
Many people are curious about how I choose coins and make trades. Honestly, the current methods are very simple. But those who truly make money are often using the simplest strategies.
I wasn't always like this. When the market moved, I couldn't resist "pushing hard," leading to frequent trades, liquidations, and losing everything. Looking back now, I realize I was so foolish back then.
It was only later that I understood— in the cryptocurrency market, simple systems are the most effective, and complex ideas can do more harm than good. Today, I want to share the core routines I've developed over the years.
**First, only look at the top gainers**
Why? It's simple—only coins that have risen attract active capital inflows and present future opportunities. What’s the point of buying a coin with no movement for a long time? That’s basic common sense.
**Second, don’t focus on candlestick charts**
I don’t watch short-term candle fluctuations; I only look at the monthly MACD. When a golden cross appears, I enter the market directly; if not, I stay in cash and wait. Candlesticks can tell you about short-term noise, but real opportunities are hidden in the big trend. Never gamble on oversold rebounds—that’s a low-probability event. Every time I tried, I lost money—my blood and tears lessons.
**Third, the 70-day moving average is my lifeline**
When the coin price retraces near the 70-day moving average and trading volume starts to increase, I dare to add positions. If there’s a signal, I hold steadily; if not, I keep waiting. This isn’t complicated theory—it's discipline.
**Fourth, never fight the trend after entering**
If the price rises, I keep holding; but if it breaks below a key support level, I sell immediately. Many people lose money simply because they can’t let go—"they can’t bear to sell." They keep hoping for a rebound, but end up watching their profits turn into losses.
**Fifth, take profits with rhythm**
Sell half your position after a 30% increase, and when it hits 50%, sell half of the remaining. The market is always changing. Missing one wave isn’t a problem; the next opportunity will come. Greed is the biggest killer in this market.
**Sixth, the most critical rule: if it falls below the 70-day moving average, exit immediately**
No matter how long you’ve held, once it drops below, you must sell. I don’t fight the market or gamble with my own life. This rule is my bottom line for survival.
After saying all this, my final words are simple: success depends not just on luck, but on choices. Choosing the right coins, the right direction, the right circle, and the right people—these determine how far you can go in the crypto market. All of this comes from my ten years of blood, tears, and practical experience.
