Recently, there has been a lot of activity in the humanoid robot sector, with several news items worth noting.
Morgan Stanley conducted a survey with quite interesting results—62% of domestic companies may introduce humanoid robots within the next three years. This is not a low percentage, indicating that industry acceptance is rapidly increasing.
On NVIDIA’s side, Jensen Huang publicly expressed his anticipation for Elon Musk’s robotics project, using the phrase “incredibly excited.” Given NVIDIA’s status in the AI chip field, this statement reflects the tech community’s growing interest in embodied intelligence.
Mass production progress is also accelerating domestically. Zhiyuan Robotics has scheduled a ceremony for the rollout of its 5,000th general-purpose robot on December 8. This number marks a turning point from proof of concept to scaled production.
On the policy front, there is also support. Beijing plans to build the world’s first national-level humanoid robot competition and training base in the Olympic Center area, and the event solicitation for the 2026 World Humanoid Robot Games has already begun.
On Figure’s side, they showcased the running capabilities of the F.03 robot, whose control system is powered by an onboard neural network developed by the internal Helix team. Judging from the demo, the movement fluidity is moving closer to practical use.
Overall, mass hardware production, policy support, and technological iteration are advancing in sync, and the pace of progress in this sector may be faster than expected.
