Just finished the seed export UGC of @useTria, suddenly feeling a bit quiet. You said we have been toiling away on-chain for so long, and in the end, what moves us the most is still this kind of inconspicuous little feature.
Tria didn't make any big moves this time, nor did it shout slogans, but the details really understand human nature: when you click on a backup, it doesn't just give you a file and that's it; instead, it reminds you, "Hey, don't just focus on the rankings, you're the main character of this on-chain journey, it's you!"
What impresses me the most is that—previously, everyone treated backups like handing in homework, dry and dull; now Tria feels like it gives you an opportunity of "I can leave anytime, but I'm not afraid." What does that feeling resemble? It’s like when you used to sleep on the floor, and now you finally have a bed. Although it’s not very fancy, you know that as long as you turn off the lights, you can sleep peacefully, and that’s worth it.
What’s even more terrifying upon deeper reflection is that this action is actually tied to zkKYC, points, and multiplier — the more you understand the need to hold back, the longer you seem to survive. This Web3 space is truly: the more you fear losing, the easier it is to lose; but if you truly stop fearing, it paradoxically gives you more.
In short, during this seed export, I was a bit distracted after clicking. There wasn't much show-off involved, but it was quite sincere. Self-custody isn't something you just say; it's in that moment when you click export that you suddenly realize: I can actually decide my own save point.
