Don't remind me again today

The most fatal mistake in the futures market is often not misjudgment, but mistaking luck for skill.

Recently, I came across a real case: this guy had a setback last week on a long position with mainstream coins. Like most retail investors, he couldn't withstand that wave of liquidation. Even more dramatic is that he had previously rolled out a profit of 60,000 U with his capital advantage, only to lose 80,000 U in just one week last week—adding in the profits, a total of 140,000 U just vanished like that.

In a one-sided market, anyone can make a profit, even with their eyes closed. But once it enters a two-way squeeze, without a certain respect for the market, relying solely on luck to escape unscathed? It's basically like standing on the edge of a cliff of liquidation.

After understanding his situation and available funds, I waited for the US stock market to open and placed a short position on ETH. Why short instead of long? Yesterday's overall trend was strikingly similar to last week - the pattern of shorting at high positions was very clear. Looking at SOL, it declined steadily from the afternoon to the evening, with a drop directly hitting 20 points. There were no substantial positive factors in the market to support it, making the bearish approach more prudent in such times.

Last night's operation was to open a short position with 2000U principal at 100x leverage, directly entering at the position of 3515, with a stop loss set at 3600, the first take profit target at 3437, and the second target at 3420. This morning around ten o'clock, I received a screenshot, successfully taking profit and exiting, earning 4700U in this wave.

Frequent trading does not equate to making money. The truly reliable approach is: the strategy must be stable, selecting 7-10 trades per week, entering with a medium position size. As long as the capital can sustain it, following this rhythm, achieving a profit of 30,000-40,000 U in a week is not exaggerated—this is the value of strategy precision.

His account is slowly recovering now, and it's just a matter of time before he can flip his position. Remember one thing: what you need is not reckless betting, but a well-thought-out strategy, and someone to remind you to set your stop-loss at critical moments.
