Green Satoshi Token (GST) powers STEPN — that Web 3.0 fitness app everyone's talking about. It kinda blends exercise with blockchain stuff through its move-to-earn approach. Walk, jog, run. Get paid. Pretty simple.
What's This GST Thing?
It's the utility token in STEPN's world. The game money. Players need these tokens to upgrade their digital kicks. Level up. Make new Sneakers. Sell them if they want.
STEPN wants people healthier. It also wants to drag folks into Web 3.0. Built on Solana initially. Two tokens at play here: GST for in-game stuff, GMT for governance.
Getting started? Download the app. Make an account. Set up a wallet. Drop some SOL in there. Buy NFT Sneakers. Wait for energy to fill up. Energy comes back slowly—25% every 6 hours. Not ideal for impatient types.
What Makes It Special?
STEPN mixes social stuff with crypto. Fitness people making money while sweating. Novel concept. The move-to-earn thing seems to have caught on. Won first place at some Solana hackathon in 2021. User-friendly interface. That helps.
What GST Actually Does
Many things:
Solo mode. Background mode. Works either way. You can even rent your NFTs to newbies.

GST has no supply cap. Inflationary by design. Started with 10 million coins. Burns happen automatically when you use it in-game. Shoe-minting, repairs, leveling up—all these activities reduce supply.
Security Setup
Runs on Solana. Uses that hybrid consensus thing with Proof-of-History and Proof-of-Stake working together. PoH handles transactions and timestamps. PoS watches over everything else.
Market Stuff
September 2025 data shows GST's been all over the place price-wise. Might hit $0.01-$0.02 by year's end? Not entirely clear. Mostly trending down though. Trading around $0.006671 lately.
