#PI# Epstein and Maxwell's negotiation process regarding his plea agreement is unheard of in the legal community.



Emails verified by Bloomberg this week confirm that Epstein and Maxwell had discussed how to phrase his crimes. Meanwhile, federal prosecutors are waiting for their instructions?

In May 2008, when Epstein's team was about to finalize the "sweetheart deal," he sent an email to Maxwell:

"Question: Which do you prefer... lewd behavior or enticing minors to engage in prostitution?"

Maxwell's response was very bland:
"I think it's debauchery... If possible, I would rather engage in debaucherous acts with a prostitute."

Epstein's lawyer complied, and prosecutor Acosta signed off.
