Nasdaq Files with SEC to List Tokenized Stocks

In a move that could bridge Wall Street and Web3, the Nasdaq exchange has filed with the SEC to list tokenized stocks.

Tokenized equities would allow investors to buy blockchain-based representations of traditional shares, enabling:

Faster settlement times

Lower transaction costs

Global accessibility for U.S. equities

If approved, this would mark a historic milestone, opening the door for other traditional exchanges to explore blockchain-powered financial instruments.

๐Ÿ‘‰ The initiative highlights how legacy finance is converging with blockchain, laying the groundwork for hybrid markets where digital and traditional assets coexist. #Gate Square Mid Autumn Creator Incentive#
