Abstract generation in progress

[Coin World] On July 12 (UTC+8), Shinhan Investment Corp., a subsidiary of South Korea's financial giant Shinhan Financial Group, has applied for trademarks related to 7 Korean won stablecoins, including "KRWSTSHI", "KRWWM", and "SHINKRW", covering Crypto Assets brokerage and financial trading services. This makes it the 4th subsidiary of the group to enter the stablecoin market following Shinhan Financial Holdings, Shinhan Card, and Jeju Bank. This also follows NH Investment & Securities' submission of the first such application last week, indicating that the Korean securities industry is once again positioning itself in the stablecoin space, showing that the industry is accelerating its efforts to seize control of digital asset infrastructure.
