Metaplanet Ownership Surpasses Cleanspark After Adding US$108 Million in Bitcoin
Metaplanet Inc strengthens its Bitcoin treasury strategy (BTC) with a recent purchase of 1,005 Bitcoin worth US$108 million, with an average acquisition price of US$107,601, Monday (30/06).
Through this purchase, Metaplanet's total Bitcoin holdings have reached 13,360 Bitcoin, worth US$1.31 million, with an average purchase of US$97,832.
In fact, the total Bitcoin holdings of Metaplanet have surpassed the mining company Cleanspark, which only holds 12,502 Bitcoin, and has made it into the top five list of the largest Bitcoin-holding institutions in the world.
In addition to Cleanspark, Metaplanet's total holdings currently surpass Tesla, Hut 8, Coinbase, and Block Inc. Not only that, Metaplanet's CEO Simon Gerovich stated that the company has achieved a BTC result of 349% this year.
