#比特币披萨节# The past and present of Bitcoin
What a great Bitcoin, how did it come about?
In fact, the Satoshi Nakamoto we mention is not the original creator of many technologies; he is merely a synthesizer of many technologies.
Although he proposed the concept of this digital currency in 2007, the initial ideas of cryptocurrency had already emerged as early as the 1930s.
In 1982, David Chaum proposed an untraceable cryptographic payment system, which is actually the ancestor of today's Bitcoin.
In 1991, Stuart Haber and Scott Stornetta published a paper: How to TimeStamp a Digital Document, in which they proposed a protocol to ensure the security of digital documents using timestamps, which is also the prototype of what is now known as the blockchain.
In 1991, Phil Zimmermann developed an email encryption system called PGP based on the RSA public key cryptography system, which can ensure that the content of emails is not tampered with.
In 1997, Adam Back invented a Hashcash algorithm mechanism, and the hash algorithm was used by Satoshi Nakamoto in the Bitcoin white paper to solve the consensus problem based on zero trust.
In 1998, Wei Dai proposed an anonymous, distributed electronic cryptocurrency system called B-money (which is definitely a Chinese person). On the official Bitcoin website, B-money is regarded as the spiritual predecessor of Bitcoin, and Satoshi Nakamoto had many exchanges with him.
So, building on these endless technological developments, Satoshi Nakamoto proposed the concept of Bitcoin in 2007 and ultimately created the Bitcoin system in 2009.
The birth process of Bitcoin is like a relay race, where Satoshi Nakamoto is just the lucky one who received the last baton. The birth of Bitcoin is actually the result of over 20 years of accumulation and continuous evolution of cryptography and digital technology.
However, Satoshi Nakamoto has always carefully hidden himself, and his public information is conveyed through the dark web. Many people have tried to find him, but no one has ever known who he is. This also adds a touch of mystery to Bitcoin.
