#加密市场反弹  The famous US-based fast food chain is starting to accept Bitcoin as payment.

American fast food chain Steak ‘n Shake announced that it will accept Bitcoin as a payment method in all its branches starting May 16.

The company announced on its social media platform on May 9 that it will offer the cryptocurrency to more than 100 million customers and ended its post with the signature “Steaktoshi” along with the statement “the movement is just beginning”.

The fast food chain had first hinted that it could accept Bitcoin

by sharing a post on social media in March asking “Should Steak ‘n Shake accept Bitcoin?”

This post caught the attention of the crypto community and Bitcoin supporters such as Jack Dorsey. Dorsey quickly replied “yes” to the post.

The company has continued its interest in this subject since then with Bitcoin-themed marketing efforts, Tesla campaigns and visual clues on its social media accounts.

Accepting Bitcoin represents a significant development in the mainstream adoption of crypto, as few restaurant chains have moved beyond limited pilots to full-fledged payment systems.
