Praise for Altcoin Project from Ethereum Founder Vitalik Buterin: It Represents the Future! - Coin Bulletin
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin mentioned projects like Railgun (RAIL), Farcaster, and Signal to show that the applications being built are shaped by the values of the developers.
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin argued that projects that value decentralization and privacy will survive in the long term in the Web3 world. In statements made via Warpcast, Buterin described applications such as Railgun (RAIL), Farcaster, Polymarket, and Signal as "good examples," emphasizing that the teams behind these projects have a strong social philosophy.
According to Buterin, creating a successful Web3 application is made possible not only by technical knowledge but also by embracing values such as decentralization and individual freedom. Highlighting Railgun's privacy-focused structure and the RAIL token, Buterin stated that such projects protect not only users but also the future of Web3. The RAIL token stands out as an essential part of the Railgun infrastructure that allows users to keep their on-chain transactions private.
Privacy and ideological stance
Buterin also argued in a post published on his personal blog that privacy is not only an individual right, but a fundamental necessity for the maintenance of social order, innovation, and freedom. Highlighting that the development of technologies such as artificial intelligence and brain-computer interfaces puts data security at risk, Buterin stated that verifiable privacy tools like ZK-SNARKs and FHE should be widely adopted to counter these risks.
Vitalik noted that the teams behind applications like Farcaster and Railgun are wholeheartedly committed to decentralization; however, he described projects like Pump.fun, Terra/Luna, and FTX as "bad examples." He emphasized that the foundation of this distinction lies in the beliefs and value systems of the developers. According to him, it will not only be the profit-driven projects that survive, but also those applications that prioritize social benefit and trust.
